high tea @ royal copenhagen

Royal Copenhagen Tea Lounge
Ngee Ann City
Singapore

Jaclyn and I had a quiet girly catching up in this beautiful and chic looking tea lounge in Taka, Singapore. They serve nice tea, lipsmacking Danish/Western classics and Asian cuisine.

the tea lounge uses only Royal Copenhagen's fine porcelain, and this collection is the Royal Copenhagen's dainty Blue Flower. hmmmm, very posh...

a pampering session

The Spa Village
Pangkor Laut Resort - 14th May 2006

The session started with a foot bath and an invigorating Chinese Foot Pounding. This apparently was only enjoyed by the concubines of feudal China during ancient history.

foot pounding, ticklish but NICE!

the fisherman's cove

This particular restaurant is situated in Spa Village Pangkor Laut Resort, Fisherman's Cove. It offers a truly unique symphony of Western Grill, Chinese signature dishes, fresh seafood and Italian cuisine.

The dynamic open show-kitchen, stunning sea view and state-of-the-art design invite all guests to journey into the exciting world of Asian fusion cuisine.

On the first night in the resort, we went for a nice and slow candlelight dinner below a bed of stars. The ambiance was simply romantic, with live musicians strolling their way away from one table to the other. I was fascinated by how the restaurant was set, somewhat in between modernity with a touch of serenity.

I was never quite a seafood fan until I tried Spa Village's Fisherman's Cove.
We both had a set dinner, each a seabass, but served in different manner, one grilled, and one baked.
Conclusion, impeccable!

Ever since then, we have loved seafood, cooked in any manner.
